Busaba Eathai - 7 Projects (2009-2015)

Busaba Eathai is a modern Thai eatery with a casual dining experience designed to feed guests with minimal fuss.  The seating layout is mainly large tables of 10 for sharing.

Busaba was established in 1999, when CTC were first appointed in 2009 the restaurant chain had 2 sites. CTC were instructed to Project and Cost Manage, produce Back of House drawings, provide professional Building Surveying advice and Procure items for the role out of 10 new sites.  We were involved from the liaison with the property acquisition agent at pre-acquisition stage, reviewing landlord’s technical information and monitoring the developers progress, also providing assessments of existing buildings conditions.  Initially CTC completed a cost assessment of the previous Busaba fit outs and studied the new proposals to see where the project could be value engineered for the roll out without diluting the concept.  Once some key cost saving finishes had been identified CTC arranged for samples to be produced to allow Architect and Client sign off.  This process continued throughout CTC’s appointment on these projects.
